Overdraft Privilege Access with Your CheckCard or ATM Card

A Federal Government regulation requires us to obtain your approval before we consider payment of your ATM withdrawals and CheckCard purchases that may create an overdraft in your checking account.

An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:

Method 1
We offer overdraft protection plans, such as a link to a savings account or Personal Line of Credit, which may be less expensive than our standard overdraft practices.

Method 2
We have standard overdraft practices that come with some accounts per our Overdraft Privilege Service Policy.

We currently provide this service as part of our Overdraft Privilege Service. The majority of our customers prefer having this service as a convenience to cover an inadvertent error, for emergencies or to avoid the embarrassment of having their CheckCard purchase denied at the grocery store checkout line, at the pharmacy when paying for prescriptions or at a restaurant when paying the bill.

There is no charge for this service unless you use it. When used, standard overdraft fees apply.
